Seeing Beyond The Seeming:
A young woman became inspired by a poem written by a Divine Teacher that lived several hundred years ago.
She was so inspired that she went to the library and signed out all the literature she could find about this great Lover.
She read more of the poetry of this wonderful teacher as each ancient word swelled in her heart feelings of great compassion and a Love so vast that she could hardly contain it.
The young lady setting the dusty book down said to herself, “Oh my God she must have had such a wonderful life, like a great princess that lived amongst great gardens and in a palace of breathtaking beauty with many loving people around her.”
“The world has changed so much now, life is no longer like this; the world is full of wars, poverty, and such strife.”
The young lady sifted through the other books she had and came across a book about the life of this Lover.
Excitedly she said to herself, “now I can read of how this princess lived in the world that inspired such amazing accounts of poetic life experiences.”
Even with all her preconceived ideas of how this Lover lived as she read this book her heart began to ache as the ideas that she thought this lover lived as were horribly dashed.
For she read about a beautiful young little girl that was sold into slavery for a little money to feed her starving family.
She read about how this slave was beaten and lived in squalor, working long and hard days in a brothel to appease the selfishness of her captors.
She read of this lady’s devotion to prayer, where she would set aside her exhaustion from labor to pray to her Beloved throughout the night, thanking God for a life of great wonder.
She read of a lady that would be used in ways of unthinkable acts that violated the innocence of any young lady, and yet this lady never considered a day of revenge or the need to forgive those who violated her beauty.
The young lady pondered on how this lady Lover that was made to serve selfish men was able to have such an unwavering Love of all things, even of the men that forced themselves upon her.
Looking away from the book she noticed the open book of poetry and on the open page was a very short little poem called, ‘One Day.’
It said, “One day He did not leave after kissing me,” the young lady astonished by the poem that this wonderful Teacher noticed God as the people that hurt her?
“How could this lady have such a Love of God or even in herself enough to attain such joyful and loving experiences?”
Instantly her heart again began to overflow in a sea of overwhelming Love and her inner voice spoke with a melodic tone of such Love that said.
“At that time I became able to see beyond the seeming, I did this because I discovered that in Loving myself free from the self-doubt that told me I was worthless, revealed the same overflowing Love you are noticing now.”
The young lady pondered with amazement at what just happened and how can one see beyond what had occurred in the life of the Great Teacher?
And her inner melodic voice simply said, “As you are doing it now, inwardly is how we see beyond the seeming, where the seeming are only the recycling of little beliefs of unworthiness struggling to survive as the outward”
The young lady inwardly asked, “why only inwardly?” and the voice said, “The Truth that all is One reveals that the outer has no true existence and for all that truly matters is our Natural way of the Christ which is Life eternally and blissful creating within its Self.”
So As I pause this little story, please know that we are never left alone in our life struggles and when we allow ourselves to be inwardly alert in noticing the Divine there is an unlimited amount of Loving support to reveal a great beauty that you are.
Always waiting for you to see you beyond your seeming perceptions of what you are.
Even when reading beautiful words, allow that beauty to not be used to lesson yourself in the untruthful comparisons of another.
Let that inspiration be that which sees beyond the seeming by savoring how your Heart can overflow in the Love that occurs as in the oneness of our Divine Nature moving always as you, waiting for you to truly see You!
Why the inner melodic voice, because your True Self sings because of the wonder of all that you are, a song of unending Love, Loving itself more/Christ!
All My Love
