A Unique Journey Traveled By Many:
A young man embarked on a journey to meet God face to face.
His family tried desperately to stop him for they loved him so and were fearful that if he did so gaze upon God he would be instantly burned to nothing.
Unwavered by his family’s pleas this young man embarked and traveled through many villages, and saw many great landscapes of earth extending into the horizon.
He saw many sunrises and sunsets of wondrous beauty and uniqueness.
He traveled to many holy places hoping to notice God, for he was told that God resided in those places.
Many years passed and age had turned this young man full of great dreams to an elderly man wise in his many experiences and yet he still would travel for he still sought his great dream to meet God.
The time had now come where this man could no longer travel and his time of searching was going to undertake a new journey for his body had come to its completion.
As his body was taking its final breaths this man said to himself, I have seen many wondrous things and have not yet met you my Beloved face to face and maybe now in this way, I may journey more to meet you.
A voice arose in his awareness and said, “Why do you wish to meet me?”
The man said, My Beloved when I was young I wanted to meet you so I could fulfill the impossible dream, and now I wish to thank you for the many wonders that had ordained my life’s journey while searching for you.”
The man said, “I hear your voice and yet my eyes have not the ability to see you my Beloved.’ Instantly this man’s consciousness was filled with the many images that ordained his life’s journey and the Beloved’s spoke again and said, “See We were always walking side by side during the whole journey.”
“We were face to face the first time your eyes opened from your birth and your eyes had been gazing upon me as you traveled every step of your life.”
“All that I have created expresses the fullness of my existence so you have met me and I traveled with you throughout the many days and nights of your journey.”
A tear emerged upon the man’s cheek as he said; “I do see you now and understand.”
Just then the clouds of his consciousness cleared and a wisdom emerged that expressed completely free of any doubt of the Nature of God for he now saw the fullness of his own journey.
At that moment his breath became still and creation sang for creation sees every journey as a wondrous celebration of the Beloved’s presence.
